About The Role

Please note that this is a temporary appointment until 19th July 2024. 
 
Please note that this is a Fixed Working Week vacancy which requires the successful candidate to work 38 weeks during term time and the salary will be the pro-rata figure advertised.
 
EKC Group are seeking to appoint an Achievement Tutor to join the Group. As an Achievement tutor you will provide additional English and Maths tutoring and academic support to students in and out of class on an individual and small group basis. 

In the role of Achievement Tutor your role responsibilities will also include working with Lecturers to produce differentiated course related resources and independent learning resources targeted at student gaps in knowledge and to be able to support specific needs of students with learning difficulties, such as Autism, cognitive learning difficulties/ disabilities.

Payment for 6.6 weeks pro rata, £2,447.79 will be paid equally in your twelve monthly salary payments in addition to the advertised pro rata salary.

About You

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Achievement Tutor to support disadvantaged students. The successful candidate will provide academic support to vulnerable students and will support individuals and groups, enabling students to become independent learners who enjoy, achieve and reach their full potential. 

We would welcome applications from people with an interest or skills in Maths & English. If you have experience of working in this field along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation this position will be ideal for you. 

Whilst experience would be an advantage what is more important is your enthusiasm to motivate and inspire our learners, to achieve and fulfil their career aspirations.
