About The Role

EKC Group have an exciting opportunity at our Nursery for an Early Years Practitioner Level 3 (Level 2 as a minimum) to join our successful growing business. This post will be part of an expanding team to deliver outstanding experiences to our children.

All candidates must have experience with working within a nursery environment and understanding of the EYFS. The position will be required to take on a key person role in delivering high-quality early years education, working in partnership with parents/carers and implementing welfare requirements to the highest standards.

This position is normally worked on a fixed working week contract over 39 weeks worked during term time but, flexibility around the working hours/weeks and pattern can be discussed with the hiring manager at interview stage.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable, confident and well organised individual to join our team within Commercial Services.
 
The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively at all levels including professional, practitioner level and to engage with children, parents and families. The candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of child development and children’s needs and knowledge of relevant health and safety and the proven ability to act upon this to ensure the environment is always safe.

The Ideal candidate will understand policies and procedures in relation to equality and inclusive practice and be able to implement this in their work. The candidate will also be comfortable to take on other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
