About The Role

We are seeking to appoint supply staff to join our Business Studies team at Canterbury College. We deliver a range of Business, Management and Human Resources courses. Our supply team act as an internal agency providing the college with well qualified, experienced and motivated staff.

As a Lecturer at EKC group you will teach, train and assess students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and to lead as appropriate on designated study programmes and/or courses, with a key responsibility for ensuring the design, delivery and evaluation of programme.
 
We pride ourselves in the support we can give those who are new to teaching, with ongoing training and coaching through our Teacher Academy. About You

We welcome applicants from industry who may be considering an additional job or launching a new career.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Human Resources and have recent & relevant industrial experience and be CIPD qualified. Ideally they will have experience of teaching or have delivered training in the workplace. 
 
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention this will be a vital part of the role and ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference to the future careers of our students, providing academic leadership and guidance in this area and managing the curriculum delivery and accreditation. Teaching and vocational experience is essential and strong leadership skills are desirable.
